TRAININGS AND COURSES -
STARTING THIS FALL Trainings and courses with a cost between $100 – $250. Introduction to Coding for Women A four week course meeting weekly on the basics of coding. Computational Thinking for the Every-Woman A workshop on “how thinking like a computer” can help with every business problem and solution. A “hands on” workshop using group breakout sessions and real life problems to teach the basic concepts of computational thinking. Programming for Non-Techies Workshops geared towards specific professions or businesses. Learn to write short, tailored programs to carry out useful tasks, includes sections on computational thinking, programming basics, and gaining of basic software skills. Building an App for Your Business A four week course. Learn to build a basic app for a business. Create a working app by the end of the course. Social Media and Online Marketing Intensive A four-week course in social media marketing, create and implement a social media marketing plan, and set up and manage social media accounts. Tech Entrepreneurship Intro learn about the range of ways non-techies are making a living online. |

CODING BOOTCAMP for WOMEN - Become a Software Developer in 8 - 12 weeks!
Only 26% of computing jobs are filled by women and there will be more than 1.1 million unfilled computing jobs by 2020. If you are interested in entering this high-demand, well-paying career path, join us for an intensive Coding Bootcamp scheduled to launch this fall, learn full-stack development, keep the laptop and software you work on in class, and graduate as a junior software developer. Anticipated tuition $8,995.
WOMEN'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP COHORT PROGRAM - Start a Digital Enterprise of your own!
Digital Enterprise Development Program: A step-by-step process to launching your company.
Join a group of women committed to learning from each other and supporting each other through the process of starting a new Tech enterprise.
A cohort-based entrepreneurship training course for women entrepreneurs eager to start a digital enterprise or add digital components to their businesses. Circles will consist of 6 – 10 women creating new or growing businesses with a digital component. Circles will run for 2 – 3 years and participants will need to commit to a full term (life exceptions accepted). The intention is to give women entrepreneurs a supportive and collaborative group in which to go through their start-up or rev-up phase and to create peer-mentoring groups that continue after the program is over. Entrepreneurship can be lonely and not every women has a network of supportive and close business buddies. Education will include entrepreneurship training and other training that provides guidance and skills that women need but which are not usually included in business training.
TECHBIVVY BASECAMP - A safe and inspiring place to work and learn
RECURRING SUBSCRIPTIONS:
TechBivvy will be creating a “basecamp” facility for tech startups which will include monthly and day-rate co-working space, conference rooms, single offices, small to medium sized office suites and education/event space for workshops, speaker series and courses. We feel that the creation of a physical place is important for creating community and for fostering a safe, non-competitive and supportive environment.
TechBivvy Basecamp programs will start when TechBivvy finds a permanent home.
Co-Working Memberships: Annual, monthly and day memberships to TechBivvy Co-working space.
Co-Working Memberships with Start-up Entrepreneur Kickstart Programs: 6 month and annual memberships to TechBivvy Co-working space combined with 2 separate start-up entrepreneurship programs – one on starting a tech business and the other on raising money for your tech business.
TechBivvy Office Space: Single room offices and small to medium sized suites with amenities.
